BiShares Updates: BISON bridge, Cronaswap partnership & Gaur pool
We’re excited to announce that thanks to the amazing team from Multichain (formerly known as Anyswap), BISON can be now bridged to Cronos — Crypto.com’s blockchain. Cronos is the third chain where BISON is available along with the coming products from BiShares, which keeps expanding.
BISON Bridge
Users can bridge BISON from BSC to Cronos and vice-versa. In the case of BISON in the Fantom Opera network it must be first bridged to BSC and then over to Cronos.
To bridge head over to https://app.multichain.org/#/router select BISON from the dropdown menu, input the desired quantity and voila! Please make sure to read the reminder at the bottom of Multichain’s web.

Transferring Funds to Cronos
The most simple and straight-forward way to transfer/bridge funds to Cronos is by having an account at crypto.com (requires KYC). Once done you can transfer funds directly to and from: ETH (ERC20), BSC (BEP20), SOLANA and CRONOS.
An alternative route that can be used to transfer funds is the bridge from EVODeFi https://bridge.evodefi.com/ where assets like USDT, USDC and ETH can be bridged from most chains. A great feature of this is that for every transaction done, 2 bonus CRO are sent to users to cover some fees on Cronos and not arrive “gas-less”. There’s a 0.5% transaction commission when using EVODeFi.
Another way to transfer funds is by buying CRO on a DEX like Uniswap or a CEX where it’s available (Coinbase, FTX, KuCoin, Huobi etc) then sending it to your ERC20 wallet and using the Ethereum bridge to Cronos. This method will be available as soon as the bridge goes live, between December and January. Partnership with CronaSwap
BiShares has partnered with CronaSwap, where BISON will be whitelisted. Cronaswap is one of the first and largest native DEX on Cronos with a current TVL of aprox 66 million, a remarkable figure for a DEX which has less than 2 months. Besides listing BISON, they will deploy a BISON-CRO farm with CRONA rewards.
BISON Genesis farm
As announced in our previous article, Phase I is set to begin with the launch of Gaur. This is the first step which will contribute towards increasing the liquidity and TVL of BiShares.
BISON will be able to be staked in the Genesis pool which will start the 18th of December at ~3 PM UTC and will last for 72 hours. This pool will yield Gaur, a token which is part of the new product being released next week at BiShares. This pool will have a total allocation of 11,000 Gaur to be distributed. This pool as well as the BISON-CRO farm mentioned above will be available on Cronaswap.
